Oskar: Nightwood's New Shredder Maverick

Oskar Sikk, 16 years old and full of fire. Don’t let your first impressions deceive you—this kid’s commitment is as solid as a rock and just as relentless. Four years deep into skating, he’s not just fooling around; this young dynamo is primed to tear apart anything in his path. Barge at will! He’s most at home in the streets, hunting down skating spots with the precision of a predator. But don’t be surprised if you find him reigning supreme at his grand oeuvre, at Kari Park, and the now legendary Krulli.

Krulli has revolutionized the Tallinn landscape, keeping the young generation skating through the brutal winters. Now, kids are tearing up the park year-round, and Oskar is leading in the charge. He’s got a wild affinity for gaps, drops, and stairs, but don’t underestimate his skills on ledges. One of his prime spots? Near the Olympia Hotel, Thrash can gap—watch out for fireworks.

Oskar’s hero? Filippe Mota. The kid’s got the gnarliest kickflip frontside blunt, immortalized on that famous Thrasher cover on Hollywood Blvd. Oskar devours Thrasher video parts like a hungry wolf, especially the latest "Masher" dedicated to Estonia’s finest spots. These videos are his fuel, igniting his passion and sharpening his skills, always accompanied by a killer hip-hop soundtrack to keep the rhythm and focus tight.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, folks. Oskar’s eyes are also on the young guns like Johannes Teder, a friend and while the old guard—Kusti, (Kristo Õismets), Lauri Täht, Rain Lindemann and Nils-Eerik Vesberg—ignite his soul. These guys aren’t just role models; they’re the legends he’s stoked to share sessions with.
The future? It’s looking wild. Oskar dreams of becoming a competition skater, and trust me, this kid is gnarly and hungry. Be ready for the big assault !He’s got tricks up his sleeve, and plenty more to discover, then Nightwood Skateboards team is backing him all the way.
